    That looks like a blown cooling system rather than a blown engine. Note how the rider seems slow to realise that something is wrong, he would know sooner if it was the engine.

    There is a blower in front of the bike for cooling. It lost a lot of parts for a cooling system failure but you never know...

    I'm thinking the turbo or waste gate let go hucking a few distasteful components in the process.
