Hi,
I was born in Co Durham in England and emigrated to South Australia in 1972 with my wife and 2 daughters. I've been a DIYer since I was born, as soon as I could run I made a bolt for the door. Ha ha. I've been buying tools since I was 7, I'm now 82 and I'm still buying tools and machines. I have 3 workshops one for engineering machines and tools, the other two for woodwork; one of which I'm in the process of extending, doubling the size. Only problem is, I have the time but not the strength or energy to do what I want each day, I'll get there though. I've designed and built a number of machines, jigs and fixtures for myself over the years.

Other than that I do a lot of computing, write programmes, build my own computers and fix computers for friends and family, free. I enjoy helping people.
