on the gats leading across fields to a rig location sometimes the entire chain would be made out of padlocks which I always thought was kind of silly to have a locked gate attached to a barbwire fence but what do I know,
Never try to tell me it can't be done

Multi-locking gate, more correctly security of a single access by opening just one of multiple locks.
Because cutting duplicate keys for one lock is so 1990's.

Often it's utilities that want to issue a single key that opens multiple locations to their employee's, but not to others who also have their own multiple locations but only share this one. One site near me has a lock daisy-chain, others have these https://www.everlocksystems.com/2016...ght-slx-model/

My work key chain carries 10 different sub-master keys and another 20 dedicated keys, such is our need to keep things secure, duplicates are a huge security issue.
