    For $580 you don't get the LCD display??
    It doesn't look as useful as a Unimat.
    Pretty paper weight? Look closely, the "three" jaw chuck doesn't have moving jaws!

    Now if they modelled it after a real company's product, they could sell them for a lot more...

    Hi Gang:
    Searching their web site I found there are several models of a small lathe. The one with the clock is a display model and is $398. Still a lot of money for a non cutting display. The company does make beautiful models and some have a bit of function, but not a great value. I don't see any graduations on the dials and the descriptions suggest only cutting plastic and light metals.
