Last year I needed a dividing head and I wanted to make my own for the sake of making it by myself. I looked around the wed and I started whith the idea of Harold Hall plan. Since I wanted also get it simple, I started with a square tube as the body. The gear worm was done with Boston gear GA and 4.5 TPI on the lathe and a tools bit I made myself. This is a VERY versatile tools and the cost are chuck and gears. If any question, please feel free to ask. I hope to help somebody.
