Hi there,
My name is Nels, and I am a wannabe home shop machinist from NY.
I own a lathe, a couple of mills, drill presses, a post grinder, and a bunch of other tools.
I founded a web site called Hobby-Machinist (http://www.hobby-machinist.com).

Hi Nels - welcome to HomemadeTools.net :welcome:
That's a highly respected website you've built. I know it well. We have 97 homemade tools listed from your site; I hope we've been able to send you some good traffic: Homemade Tools from hobby-machinist.com - HomemadeTools.net . Let me know if you ever want to swap forum admin ideas :)
Hi Jon. Thanks for the kind words. It's the people that make the site. We have some very nice people on the site, and our administrator, Tony Wells, is a very good guy. I merely founded it, and do some technical tasks. Thanks for offering some of the projects on our site. We're here to teach those willing to learn, in a very non-confrontational way. We are a not-for-profit, non-commercial site, so we are pretty unusual that way. We share everything we have with others.
Sure, we can swap ideas any time you want. I am very new to running a web site, so I know there is a lot I can learn.
