Howdy,
I just somehow found this site and I have to say finally found a place that has same interests. I was raised doing things for myself way before DIY was a "thing". It is just life. Thanks for letting join. I just finished making another crooked knife so I could finish the persimmon ladle I've been carving as a Christmas present for my wife.
So, some of my interests are blacksmithing, traditional woodworking, coopering, spoon carving, historical reenactment.
Wife and I are building or I should say rebuilding a log house from a very old log school house and a two room cabin originally built in the 1840's or 50's from Missouri.
I live in Oklahoma.
Thanks again for letting me join. I'm excited to be here.

Hi Eddie - welcome to HomemadeTools.net :welcome:
You'll fit in well here with those interests. Post a pic of that crooked knife if you get a chance, we'd love to take a look.

Welcome, Eddie. Always nice to meet a fellow blacksmith. I've been hammering iron for nearly 2 years now so I still have a lot to learn. Looking forward to seeing your work!
