New Guy on the block

Hello,
My name is Hap Smith Jr. I'm retired and work at amusing myself with metal as well as wood. I look forward to seeing some of these great ideas and may post a few of my own in the future. We are building a small shop this year so I can have the space to do more. Currently I'm in a 8' X 16' shed I built. The new shop will be 42' X 35', with a basement under it and a loft over head. An office and full bath just off the office and a half bath in the basement. 200 amp service to the building should give me plenty of power. I'll have two wood stoves with blowers, one in the office/ restroom area, known as my clean space. The other stove will be in the main shop area, it will have a blower and duct work as well.
I'm a retired Marine. I served as a gunsmith building and servicing Sniper Rifles and weapons used my MEU-SOC and HRT.

Sounds like a great shop upgrade in the works; can't wait to see what you build in all that new space. We have some interesting tools on our Gunsmithing tag page, but we'd love to add some of yours.
