New Guy Here
Hello to all on this board. I'm new here and look forward to learning new tool ideas and to contribute if I can. I collect antique automotive tools and I'm restoring a 1929 Ford Model AA truck. I've been a mechanic for over 40 years and am slowly recreating a 1920s- 30s type garage at home one tool at a time.

I'm looking forward to seeing pictures!

Hi Dr. StrangeWrench,
Welcome - and great username! :welcome:
Let's definitely see some pics of the '29 Ford project! I just finished a car build myself and am already thinking about the next one…
The garage sounds cool, too.
Are you looking for a particular tool idea at the moment? What's next on your build list?

Thanks for the welcome. Pics soon after I load them up.last fall I made a tool to speed up valve seat grinding, height checking and lapping on 4 cylinder flathead Fords. I think my next project will be to build a hand crank tow truck body and mount it on another old truck.
