New Here
I've been watching this site for quite a while and and have seen some pretty great tools and other stuff built. I haven't really built any tools lately. Most of the stuff I build is recumbent trikes and other pedal vehicles. I've got a small home shop with a smithy lathe/mill combination which I tinker with a lot. I've found home metal casting a good way to get stock for the lathe when I'm building trikes. I'm a self taught flame welder... I found out the hard way the 80 year old house I live in can't handle even a small tig machine... After two fried circuit breakers in one day my landlord actually asked my nicely to find a different way to weld

Hi Lee,
Welcome - glad to have you here! :welcome:
I'm definitely interested in seeing your casting setup. What's the next project on your to-do list?

It's going to be another cargo trike... I'm still working on the design but it should look more or less like this when I get done. Kind of a peddie cab but only wide enough for one person in the back.... cargo instead of people.

I can remember the Good Humor guys pedaling something similar when I was a kid in and around NYC.
