new here
Hello all new here. What got me here was the bottle jack press. Im an amateur mechanic that gets into projects that need that special tool that I hate to buy especially if it would kinda sorta work if I tilt it a certain way. I hope to lend some feedback or ideas but for now I will certainly be doing a lot of bookmarking
Thanks

Hi Mike - welcome to HomemadeTools.net :welcome:
The bottle jack presses are classic homemade tools!
Are you thinking of building one? If not, what's next up on your projects list?

Just finished changing my rear end gears for the second time. changed from 3.27 to 3.73 to 4.10 so I could have used this. My projects are all over the place (read, crazy ideas after a few beers) but I am a Rube Goldberg kinda guy ;)

Hi Mike,
Welcome! :welcome:
What sort of vehicle are you working on?
Rube Goldberg always got it done, though! What's the next project on your list?

That Lincoln sounds sweet. Let's see some project pics!
My Dad always talked about Lincolns when I was a kid. He owned a Town Car for awhile, but really wanted an early '70s Mark IV. Great cars, all.

4.10, I hope you have overdrive and a high back seat to keep low gear from snapping your head off.
