I have just joined this minute, have several projects on the go and hopefully will find useful info here and even pass on some of my own.
Cheers!

Hi thermas - welcome to HomemadeTools.net :welcome:
You had me at "several projects on the go". :) What are you working on now?
Hi Jon, thanks for the welcome
At the moment it's a spotwelder for general use, an induction heater for heating a crucible to melt and cast aluminum, a CO2 laser which hopefully can cut thin sheet metal, the CNC platform to articulate said laser and a vast amount of electronic projects as control and operative devices for all these. I can't work on them all at once, but it keeps me steady because I can make progress on whatever I feel like working at on any given day. I am inspired mostly by things found on the internet (I'm sure most of these projects look familiar to you if you browse DIY forums and blogs) , I can't help but say "I need one of those" when I see a nicely built machine.
Hi thermas,
Welcome! :welcome:
I like your system of keeping several projects underway simultaneously. I try to do the same, though shop space and organization are usually the limiting factors.
Let's see some pics of your work…
