New to Homemade tools

Greetings to all members.
I am a recently retired steel mill maintenance worker and am enjoying getting more time in my wood working shop. I am always on the look out for good ideas and designs for wood working jigs and tools that I can make that are less expensive and have more features than the store bought ones. I am currently playing around with a few ideas of my own and when I am happy with them I will post them here.
