Hi, my name is nick retired engineer small workshop with a large amount of hand built tools,have a passion for repurposeing treadmills,e.g. 14in joiner, 4ft wood lathe,bench mortise mechine,belt grinders,disc sanders. My pride and joy is a 1947 9in southbend lathe completely restored.just finished a set up, for cutting 54t gears without a milling machine or a dividing head, all done on a drill press, using a54t and a80t gear able to cut metric threads on a imperial lathe,just starting on the 80tooth gear will post details later. My moto is a wise man Listens a fool talks.will be happy to share my knowledge all the best.
