New at machining

Hello all from Arkansas. I'm newly retired and have been working with wood as a hobby most of my life, then I bought a mig welder, then a plasma cutter then a tig machine which led to some cheap harborfreight milling machine and lathe. I've also been a hobby gunsmith for many years which has become much more of a full time thing the last few years. So my metal working interest tends to follow this passion. I would love to get a decent lathe but right now funds and space will not allow. I figure I can learn some on the equipment that I have. I really need to figure out threading but have not tried much yet. I always need odd screws for old guns and I would like to be able to make them myself.
