Hello everybody!
I am from León, Guanajuato, México; I can read but not write english very well (sorry if I write something wrong).
I like woodworking and woodturning. I receive the newsletter and I would like to join the Forum, and eventually share my work.
Regards.

Hi morsa - welcome to HomemadeTools.net :welcome:
Your English looks good :) What are you working on now?
-
Hi morsa,
Welcome - glad to have you here! :welcome:
Lots of woodworkers around here. What kind of woodworking are you doing?

Hola morsa,
Bienvenido - encantados de contar contigo aquí! :welcome:
Un montón de trabajadores de la madera por aquí. ¿Qué tipo de carpintería estás haciendo?

Thanks, Jon.
Nothing special; woodworking and woodturning is just a hobby, so I just work at leisure. I'm making a base for a table ornament (crystal sphere).
-
Thanks, Ken.
I'm going to take some time to review the topics of the forum, specially those about woodworking.
I just finished a pair of pencil-holders and I'm making a base (pedestal).
By the way, I participate in a Latin American forum and I've just found that is not in the list of sites considered as producers of homemade tools.

Hi morsa,
Let's see some pics of those pencil-holders!
It can be challenging to index foreign-language sites, particularly those for which we're not fluent speakers of the particular language. That said, it's definitely on our radar. If you'd be willing to share a link to that other forum, we'll be glad to take a look.

Thanks, Ken. I'll show some pics of new (and old) pencil-holders in a new thread.
This is the forum: foromimecanicapopular.net • Página principal
In that forum, I use the same nickname (morsa), and most of my work posted there is also showed in a Pinterest board (https://www.pinterest.com/morsa00/mi...icapopularnet/). There are some homemade tools (some of them inspired in your newsletter) and I'd like to know if I could post them here.

Absolutely! Please do post all of your excellent homemade tools here - with our thanks and appreciation! We'll get them added to the site and credited to your builder page directly.

Ah, you are morsa from Pinterest! :hattip: I thought I recognized that username. I remember following you there :)
I know foromimecanicapopular.net; they have linked to us before. Sometimes it's difficult for us to do the language translation; my Spanish is much worse than your English!
Yes, please go ahead and post your tools here, in the Homemade Tools subforum, and we'll get them listed on the site and credited to your username.

Thanks again, Ken. I'm still trying to get familiar with the site and in a few days I'll be posting some of those homemade tools.
