I have been machining for about 5 or 6 years.Retired carpenter with a wood shop that I mostly use mostly for machining now. I have built a locomotive that runs on air.Pennsylvania A-3 Switcher that was supposed to be a steam locomotive. I did a poor job of hard soldering the boiler and decided after many hours of working on the boiler to only run it on air.I have also made several of Elmer Verduz's engines. I have made a number of wood working tools over the years. These include a panel saw, wood lathe, 1 x 42 belt sander, disk sander and a drum sander.
