Hello, Name is Mark, retired field construction Boilermaker. attempting to learn a bit about machining. like to work with my hands and tools. have just finished up my first real project, made a carriage stop for my 10x22 g0602 Grizzly lathe. Basically a copy of one made be xynudo on you tube. Only thing I did different is I used a piece of 1/4" round stock for pivot point instead of ball bearing. machined a grove for the rod and tig welded it to the bottom piece to keep it in place.
