New member intoduction
:hattip:Hello everyone
I am new at many things.....have never posted on a forum before but have been looking at many of your projects as have been getting emails for years on all your great projects. I have enjoyed reading about your accomplishments and appreciate your time committed to sharing your wisdom with other like minded individuals.
Jon you have created a masterpiece for us to communicate to each other and share knowledge kudos for that!
Just like to say I have recently retired from being a lifetime trades person (Industrial Machinist , Millwright) and am fascinated by many of your projects and enjoy your enthusiasm and time spent sharing your experiences.
Out of necessity I have made many homemade tools, gadgets but have not had the venue to share them, this is an awesome venue to do this. My interests have been focused on things I had to do for everyday living and maintenance, but I hope to follow up with some whimsical endeavours that I have been saving up till I retired.
I have a 50 ford pickup that I have owned since I was 15 that I would like to build into a cool street rod but my lifetime achievement reward to myself will be to build an awesome shop to "play in" as I enjoy working with my hands. I have purchased a used steel building that was disassembled (120' X 50' X 18') and have put down the gravel bed last fall with intensions of starting the building come spring. I enjoy all parts of motorcycling from maintenance to touring and customizing, Camping fishing and exploring in the bush of Northwestern Ontario
I am happy to join your group and look forward to read your posts!
Thanks Mikestoys:rocker:

Welcome - glad to have you here! :welcome:
I'm looking forward to seeing pics of your new shop building going up this spring, as well as all the neat stuff you'll get up to in there. Lots of bike guys here, too, (including me) - so feel free to share your moto adventures!
