new member intro.
Hi Folks, I'm from northwestern Pennsylvania in a little coal mining town of Dagus Mines. 79-3/4 years old and retired, plus just plain tired. LOL. Spent my working years as a field service tech for a compressor mfg. and finished up as a plant maintenance foreman for a lighting mfg. I love to design and build stuff like a couple half scale farm tractors, trailers and tractor implements. Then got into restoring lawn and garden tractors. Like Power Kings, Bantam, Bolens riders, and Wagner Little Giants. Plus some others. When the weather was cold and miserable in the winter I built several pieces of furniture and remodeled out kitchen and bathrooms.
Found this web site and it fits into my nitch in life just fine. Love to make stuff. Looking forward to keeping my hands dirty and skinned up. for a few more years.

Hi Ron,
Welcome! :welcome:
I'd love to see those half-scale tractors. If you've got photos, post 'em up! What are you working on presently?
When you're ready to share some of your own homemade tools, we'd love to see them. Please post them directly in the Homemade Tools subforum. We'll add each one to the database, as well as to your builder page on the site.
Non-tool items should be shared in the Not a Tool, but Homemade subforum.
