Newbie
High my name is Larry D. and I am a 75 year old education retiree. I have always been interested in woodworking, but never seem to have the time to do much. About 3 yrs. ago my wife and I move to a small rent house in south Tx. I wound up having to have another leg amputated so I am now wheelchair bound. About a year after we moved in our kitchen had to be redone. My wife and I tackled the job and got it done all on our own. I could not do much to help, but I could tell her what needed to be done and how to do it, and she did it. Since then we have tackled a new vanity in the bathroom and have several projects in the works. I just found this site and find it to be a great source for info and ideas.

Hi LarryD - welcome to HomemadeTools.net :welcome:
I know what you mean about having the time. Seems like the more interested I become in something, the less time I have! Your education experience will probably come in handy around here. It's one thing to know how to do something, but much harder to explain it clearly to someone else :)

Hi Larry,
Welcome! :welcome:
I've always thought that one never really begins to fully understand a topic until one attempts to explain/teach it to someone else. Great job on guiding your wife through the bathroom upgrade.
What've you got in the works?
Ken
