newbie old stock
new to the forum and thoroughly enjoy each tool! i've been building tools for 41 years , not in a machinist shop yet out in the yard by necessity(need tool,no money, junk pile=build what i need) i was a machinery mechanic for years with a farmed out machine shop , the ones' that you show'em what you need and they screw it up but you have 'sumthin' and you make it work anyway!
so this was the forum i needed a long time ago and maybe i can contribute. please let everyone know that i do read their posts and that they do not post in vain.
oh ! the ideas are rampant and encourage me to make my life so much easier and the atta'boys' i get whenever i come up with something to help a friend out with a stone walled project. did i ever tell ya' abou

Hi cuyler1 - welcome to HomemadeTools.net :welcome:
Any specific projects on the burner right now?

building a side car motorized bicycle. 26" beach cruiser with a 2 hp 1976 b&s. using a 20" outrigger wheel for sidecar with a 55 gallon poly drum enclosure. goldwing cafe 1/2 way there,gs850 coming, building single barrel carb manifold for my goldwing and then at this very moment building a waterpump to recirculate cleaning solution on a 350 chevy that was leaking water from the intake manifold into the block. and then 100's of little things.
never a dull moment round here!
