Hello everyone,
I'm retired from a local Caterpillar Heavy Equipment Dealer. I have a collection of old garden tractors and I love woodworking, fabricating things and general tinkering [electrical, electronic or mechanical]. My motto is "don't pitch it till you see if you can fix it, see how it's made or salvage something from it".
This site is the best collection of homemade tools I have ever found. I enjoy being a part of the group.
Thank You, James

Sounds like you have a wide skill set that will come in handy around here :) Nice to have you on board.

Hi James,
Welcome! :welcome:
I'm with you on the personal motto, though my wife would say that I tend to stop at "Don't pitch it!"
What are you planning to build next?

Well Ken,
I'm working on an MOT to run my dead cordless drills but my honey-do list and the spring yard work takes a lot of my time So I probably will make a post when I get it finished.

My electronic skills are sometimes just enough to get me puzzled or in trouble [ sometimes watching things fry] .I have always been fascinated with electronics and what I have learned mostly came from reading and Caterpillar service training.
