Nutcracker
Attachment 44536
Yesterday, an old friend, visiting us,explained how she had to crack a pile of walnuts, and how she was using a hammer, since her hand tired quickly enough using the usual pincer type, only she was also bruising her fingers!
So this is for her. There is a small concave depression beneath the hammer poll.
All in my usual shabby chic, repurposed style.Attachment 44537
