Occasionally I need to indicate something where I can't get a direct shot with a dial indicator and for various reasons a test indicator won't do the job. I made this from a 3/4" length of 3/16" square keystock. It has a 0.116" thru hole on one end and a 4-48 tapped thread on the other.
This tip extension changes the load on the indicator plunger, so I would use this sparingly.
