    The strap and open end wrench might have worked if they tried loosening it instead of tightening it...

    I wish I had that much room for a oil filter wrench like that. After I take the side panel off, the loader frame gives me just barely enough room to fit one of these:

    and then I get, if I'm lucky, 10 degrees of turn before I have to readjust the wrench. Once it breaks free, I can hand turn, but before that, can't use filter pliers of anything else. just no room...
