    Old School Tool Phreak

What a fun site to explore. Might even find something of my own to share as I'm 67 years young and still thrilled at learning new tricks. (Some day I'll fire up that plastic welder I bought two years ago, ha ha).

Old reliable air compressor I built in '76,
    still in daily service!

Hi AvaChava - welcome to HomemadeTools.net

The compressor looks good, and 42 years old certainly counts as reliable!

What are you considering building next?

Well, Jon, I dreadfully need to get my home made bead-blasting box back in operation.
I have a nice 30x50 shop my wife let me have with 59 110 volt outlets and 24 air
couplers strategically placed inside and out. I should probably do a feature on it as
there are many interesting and useful design elements. It will never be finished
but provides a great, well lit space to work on all my projects. I also have a great
little John Deere tractor (50 hp, 2240) that has been down with coolant in the oil
for too many years. I'm intimidated by the 3 cyl diesel but need to get over that...

Hard to believe it snows in South
Alabama but it's true! Poor old Greenie.

    Yes, post shop pics!

"interesting and useful design elements" sounds very intriguing.
