One many uses for a magnet from a junk computer hard drive

I've also got these magnets holding up my drill light.

I've melted down a few of the hard disk cases and cast them in sand molds. Hopefully will be making some flywheels later in the year.

That is really cool! Is that solid magnet, or aluminum with magnet backing?
