One of those jobs

Hi All
I had one of those jobs that I never ever seem to get around too, as it is only a problem when I need to adjust it and its normally half way through another job. So it's one of those "I'll do that when I get a chance one day" :headshake:. Well today I finally got around to making it that day and it only took an hour to do :brickwall:

It was a lever lock clamp for the toolpost and a plastic knob on the top of the toolpost location pin. I hate having to adjust these two items on my lathe as it always seems a real faff.
The main issue with the clamp nut was it had to be adjusted with a cheap and nasty box spanner as with most lathes onto a nyloc nut. The location pin had a knurled grip which was difficult to lift and would require a pair of pliers to lift.
So know it is so much easier to use and like most of these types of jobs "WHY DIDN'T I DO THIS YEARS AGO!" :smash:

A little bit of paint on the nut and both pin and clamp ready to use.

Sorry a boring post, but small jobs like these once completed make a big difference.
