    Yes that's the same idea but I like to move the individual tap sets to the point of use. A larger board would be more difficult.

    I like something more in the middle. That is put a group of taps on a block and carry a drill index with you. This seems to do well at work, possibly because I'm not always sure which tap size I will need (maintenance environment). At home I sadly don't have the room to line up a bunch of blocks.
