    You can copy keys from a picture now. I haven't done it with keys, but Fusion is really good at importing images and doing CNC toolpaths. I had to fit this really weird cast steel part that was about 6" long. We took a picture, imported it into Fusion, designed a part and the thing cast part dropped in first try. I was amazed.

    What file type did you save the photo in? I use Fusion too, so this sounds like a useful trick.

    All kinds I think. Just go to Insert then Canvas. The trick is to take an accurate measurement on two points on the physical object, then pick the same points on the image to establish scale. Then the image will be pretty much dead on and you can build your sketches on top of it. It's incredibly useful.
