    Panel cutting bandsaw

This may be the only existing band saw of its kind in the world or at least one with as many varied functions as it had.
back in 2003 the requirement came up for me to construct a vertical band saw capable of cutting 20inch thick material at a 45° bevel.
The only remaining picture that I still have of it is this

But here are a few Jpegs of the drawings of it As you can see it can roll in like a Do-all and tilt left or right like a Do-all But what a Do all can not do is the blade can be rotated 90°to allow for making cuts as long as the material is both vertical and tilted up to a 45° angle

the roll in distance is 5 feet

Tilted to make long beveled cuts

the capacities were as follows roll in distance 5 ft
max roll in bevel cut left or right 45 ° at 20 inch thick.
    Blade can be rotated 90°
Max tilt at any roll in position 45° one direction only
blade size 1" by 24 ft
    motor HP 5
4 blade speeds low for cutting Steel 2nd Aluminum 3rd steel clad foam sandwich panels & hard woods 4th soft woods
    the wheels were 20" diameter
hydraulic cylinders controlled tilt and roll in a total of 4 cylinders were used
the frame doubled as a trailer for transport to a job site with retractable axle and removable tongue
