Perfect burger drop photography rig - GIF, video, and photos

Perfect burger drop photography rig, by Steven Giralt. I was advertising-skeptical of this one until I saw that the burger ingredients are real, and this clever ad is all done with custom homemade photography rigs.

That's a keeper. Well done home made tools! Camera gear is pretty nice too.

Ok, I had to go rabbit holing when I got a few, mainly because his shop/lab reminded me of seeing ILM shops in the early days (late 80's) when I worked next door. Steve is quite gifted in his inventive, creative and artful eye, imho. Got some nice gear like the robot and a Phantom Flex 4k camera (~$150K) but all of his hand built Arduino controls and modeling servos (rubber band cutters) all out of his head like we do around here...and hand built for what he wants to do...stun and captivate us visually.

This About Me video is another brilliant piece of art in my humble opinion. Worth the 3:48 to watch it.

Totally different rig, this time made for a burger flip instead of a drop. Love that spatula motion!
