The frame resting on top of the table is a fire escape platform base for the church. The table underneath is 2 pieces of 12" 65 # Ibeam cut off at the web with a 1" gap between them. The length is 38" with a 10" strip of 3/4 plate on a slide that extends about 30". It all sets on a 1 1/2 pipe frame with 2 10" wheels on one end and leveling legs on the other end. The table top is heavy enough to weld to and pound on' yet I can wheel it up on a trailer and load some stands to go do a job that requires a more permanent setup than the truck table. It came into existance on a house job where I made several structural steel forms. This was for porch railings, and roof setups as well as post supports. My main layout table is 1" X 52 X68 now. I'm trying to get out of the biggetr projects and stick to smaller things.
