The Magni M-16 Tandem Trainer is an Italian sport autogyro, and this specimen, built by Lee Blazejewski on MagniGyro.com, is a solid example of an open cockpit sport gyro build. These aren't incredibly complex machines; Lee completed this one build in 3 months and 280 hours, and powered it with a 100hp Rotax engine.

The M-16s are the bestselling Magni Gyros, with tandem seating and a whopping 3 1/2 hour flight time. Some are used for agricultural and survey work, but this build was just for fun.
