thanks, I use a knife, and I've seen local plumbers use the back of the panel saw they used to cut the pipe.

I'm not sure I'd use one like that, though the taper looks ok I'll stick with my GF tool, good from 1/2" to 12" and probably bigger with thin walls. It's not just deburring that's important, cement bonding shed 80 for 100+ PSI has to be done right, the 'professionals' who installed £6M of GF in our building didn't do it right, 15 years later we're still getting bond-line failures, a combination of no taper scrape off no bond and not properly solvent cleaning so the solvent cement is sitting on mold release wax. GF visited to 'assess' the systems and ran away, no liabilities as the installers hadn't followed the manufacturers design specs or methodology, not even expansion/contraction 'U' drops...
