Hey thank you for your question! I welded a 3" male fitting on the very bottom of the hopper, with a valve threaded on. It sits high enough off the ground that I can slide a tray underneath to change sand. dump the new sand through the grate on top! If anyone is thinking of this, I would build it as two hoppers instead of one, as the media will get real worn down and not feed nicely. Two hoppers with two guns would be perfect. Thank you for featuring my video by the way! Its not great quality and I may make some new videos if anyone has more questions I'll answer them in it!

Well I'm not sure if they call it puck board, its what is used on the inside of hockey rinks, but its 1/8" thick sheet of plastic, very strong stuff, just dont let the cabinet freeze as this stuff expands and shrinks and may crack, I dont think 1/8" will because its so thin, but 1/4" does for sure I know. Are you from the states? its a common thing here in canada, I bought it from totem i believe. I lined the inside of the cabinet with coroplast, made it brighter and this way the wood doesn't get wore down from blasting over time ( partical board might flake off and cause problems was my reasoning) there is a sometimes a smooth side to it as well, and a rough side, make sure the smooth side is to the inside of the hopper.

Good job, how is your nozzle doing? I've previously gotten carbide nozzles from Guyson and they last pretty good.

I also made a footswitch adapted from an air valve from McMaster Carr, from lifetime experience I found that the trigger on a handheld gun tended to get jammed up eventually with abrasive media.
