Yeah...that would never work. And is potentially dangerous on multiple levels. I’ve been involved in treatment of hundreds of kids with foreign objects involving the airway. It is not a job for the amateur.

Then someone's child would probably die. Not saying the device is not better than nothing. Preforming the Heimlich maneuver requires a skill that everyone owes it to themselves to learn how to administer properly
