Mine is the HF Chicago Electric bandsaw. I believe the Bauer is a virtual copy.... it looks like Harbor Freight's Chicago Electric model. I just bought one but the new ones are branded as Bauer. Any chance you could post some additional detail pictures of how the saw mounts to the frame?
The front and back ends of my top frame are made from angle iron. Holes were drilled in the angle iron to match the width of the ubolts. The ubolts were wrapped over the handles, vertically in the front and horizontally in the back.

The 3/8" pipe and 3/8" roundstock were surplus materials I had on hand. I added threads to the ends of the roundstock for this project.Really like how you constructed the hinge out of the pipe. I assume that was pre-threaded?
