That is only because so many in the government are so stupid they stick things in to places where they should not. They think they are smarter that everyone else, but time and time again, they prove the opposite.

Be better if there was two people on either side and that's me speaking of having picked potatoes for a lot of my life. M y family were in the trade for a long time. But the idea in principle is good for small farms or small holdings.

I'd add a bucket/basket under the rock chute to collect all those potato shaped rocks, instead of dumping them back onto the field.
