Powered Lathe Slotter and Shaper

The Powered Lathe Slotter/Shaper is now complete and working. Check out the video of it in operation. I also give a brief description of the articulated full bay bridge crane I designed and fabricated for lifting heavy (up to 200Kg's) tools and parts onto my machines.

The slotter is cool enough........but star of the show's the bridge crane. Lots of clever innovations, but eliminating conventional trucks; stupendous!

Thankyou Toolmaker51, yes its something I did a couple of years ago to assist me when I'm older and retired. I don't want to be lifting heavy gear and probably wouldn't be able to years down the track. It has been a life saver during my post surgery recovery, its allowed me to do things I wouldn't be able to do and carry on with these types of projects.
