I'm wondering what the low frequency sound from the base woofers does to the hearing of the person sitting in the car. I know just pulling up beside one of those idiots in my pickup the sound bothers me and I'm much further away from the source than they are

Yep, I have enough hearing damage from too many years being around machinery and heavy equipment and even wore some form of hearing protection most of the time, without purposefully trying to destroy my hearing with something like that
