Procedure for repairing a rusted out pipe

While working on a Truck today I noticed it whistled while running when the engine was revved up some
This is usually indictive of a leak in the intake air cooling system between the Turbo and the engine intake. After a brief search I narrowed it down to a small hole in the pipe that leads from the turbo to the cooler. I removed it then cleaned up the rusted area and oxy fuel welded the rusted area
