    It will work just fine until there is fold after fold after fold of the net fouled on the prop Because that little sharp pawl will be ripped right off the housing.

    Well as mentioned in some of the previous messages, there are many situations where the lines encountered would not be a cheap piece of 3/8 yellow braided polypropylene utility line.

    Any prudent seaman would see this as a gimmick device. While it may cut a few recreational fishing lines it is certainly not up to the task of cutting commercial fishing gear. Especially after it becomes barnacle encrusted.

    As the saying goes, “A fool and his money are soon parted!”
