Nope! That could have gotten ugly really fast! May have gotten ugly back where we couldn't see it, anyway. That ladder and the limb itself may have gotten the lady, even if the chainsaw didn't. People doing that sort of thing should be dressed appropriately, which she wasn't. A hard hat won't always save you, but they give you a better chance if heavy crap falls on you. Even that ladder was pretty heavy, and the limb quite a bit more so.

She got hit by the saw, then the ladder, then smashed by the ladder then fell off the ladder. Don't know how high they were because of the fence, could have been 10 feet of more!

Looks like something Joe Biden might have planned.

    That could have been terrible.

I don't think they planned the branch thing... oh I see what you did there!

Good thing the saw was at least idling. It starts with the saw left in the cut as she hands the guy something, not sure where the second limb comes from that must of had a ladder resting on it. Could have been very bad.

Yup, bad decisions all around on this one. Think the crew should take a long hard look at their prodacalls. Methods, safety and dress code. All wrong! That large of a branch should have been brought down in pieces or by a crane. Almost cost them several lives. I'd quit that team and choose to work with a more cautious crew.

Just speculation here, but I would say that the "assistant" is probably the guys wife and this was probably not one of his jobs. Otherwise she would not have been dressed like that. Sometimes side work is not worth it.

Sooo True. He'd be saying, "Honey I am so sorry your arm was cut off by the saw. And you broke your leg falling off the ladder. But man, ya know we needed that $200.00 bucks. Thanks for your help! I love you.".
