QUICK CLAMP HOMEMADE
I ‘ve made this quick clamp just as a portable vise to work outside of the laboratory in a clean environment or to work far from my place. It’ s more clean and healthy to work outside because there is not so much dust from the angle grinder all around and we don’t have to breathe all the harmful gas from the welding machine. It’ very strong and easy to carry everywhere. I saw something similar in a russian channel (Делай сам)and I ‘ ve added a few more accessories to make it more easy to use. I also explain the use and give all the dimentions and the construction for anybody who wants to make his own clamp.

Thanks Mariost, can you please draw a quick sketch with the dimensions for the major pivot points please, which can be scaled up or down to suit any size of clamp. I guess the geometry is critical, meaning that getting the pivot points right is essential. Thanks.
