Here is a 1" quick disconnect air coupling made from a 1" black iron union and a 1"X1/2" reducer. I needed a way to connect my air compressor to my shop manifold, but still be able to quickly disconnect it. When mated together, the union locking ring is only hand tight, the o-ring makes the seal. This one is operating at 125 psi with no leaks.
