ttmrj,
Nice job on the radius turning attachment!
I made one using a Criterion boring heads out fifteen years ago and still have it. I used it to make a double batch of ball handles for my Quorn tool and cutter grinder.
It does a great job.
Gday, thanks for the kind words, I was giving a quorn tool and cutter grinder, its a MK1, I’d say it would be 75% completed, I have the spindle to make as well as the rotating tool head along with a couple of other items, I’m really looking forward to getting stuck into this project and have a great tool in the end, I’m have studied the plans for the spindle and to be honest, I’m not sure how I’m going to get on but there’s only one way to find out, I’ll be posting my progress as I go along but it’s a job I really don’t want to rush, Cheers Matty
ttmrj,
Whatever you do have fun with your Quorn project. Do you belong to the Quorn Group on www.groups.io.com ?
Gday, I’ve tried to open the link to the quorn group, sadly it doesn’t work
I just go to Google and do a search for groups.io
Then you must search for QUORN
I used good quality ball races on my spindle rather than the fiddly adjustable ones supplied by Quorn. Simpler to install and no run out. It's quite a challenging undertaking to make a Quorn, very satisfying but I wouldn't do it again.
