I need to get my wife one of those. She never puts anything into the trash or recycle bin if it has any identifying information. She tears that part off and it gets burned or shredded.

Standard cellulose thinners will do the same job on most labels, its a good idea to erase any personal info before disposal and don't forget the barcodes also, its amazing these days what can be used against you from your trash.

I have a cross-cut shredder, and a bbq grill that gets used as an incinerator. It's kinda hard to reassemble ashes.

What's even better is to not live in an area where someone is going to go through your trash, But then again most of our junk like that gets used to start a fire in our wood stove there is not a forensic science specialist in the world who can recreate anything from out ashes once they7 have been scattered on the ground
