I hate having to smash on them when they're glued to the hub with rust. Sorry poor little wheel bearings. I ALWAYS anti-seize the rotors, sliders, wheel lugs and the mating surfaces of the rims. You need to reduce your lug torque to prevent overtightening, but living in the rust belt anti-seize is a must. I've had wheels stuck on so bad that I had to drive down the road swirving side to side with no wheel lugs just to break the wheels free.
